About Patrick McMillan
Patrick believes that the core beliefs of any organization should align with its stakeholders’ mutual traits or values relating to accountability, consistency, integrity, and sustainability. He is also an advocate for promoting an organizational culture that is supported by corporate social responsibility practices, which considers the needs and viewpoints of each of these stakeholders. Patrick believes that building community around common goals is important.
Patrick is a highly effective servant leader with years of repeated high-impact, data-driven success. He has 15 years of combined work experience in the third- and sixth-largest school districts in the United States of America. Also, more than 15 of his total 21 years as an educator have been spent serving in instructional leadership roles. Currently, he serves as a school administrator at a local Houston ISD. Previously, with Broward County Schools and Somerset Academy Schools, he served as a school leader and supervisor to various instructional and non-instructional teams. Moreover, he has more than two years of school reform experience, serving on school turnaround committees to improve the performance of districts and schools throughout Florida and one district in Illinois.
Patrick is a leader who believes that the glass is half full, the tree makes a sound when it falls in the forest, and the elephant in the room is visible. Put more plainly, he maintains a growth mindset, is a high-character individual, and is equipped with a relentless determination and limitless resourcefulness that enables him to get things done at a heightened level of performance. As a data-driven and results-oriented professional, he uses processes and systems that almost always yield desired outcomes; for both himself and those whom he serves.
